All right, who tf’s up for this again?! I’ll be taking the mantle in running this – just this once. Like last year, we will pretend we are the GMs of the Teams! We had done it in previous years (2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020), so I'm here opening this thread up to see if we have enough interest in doing it again. Obviously this is pretty short notice, so if this year's Fantasy Draft falls through, not a big deal!
Previous Year's Threads: 2014 Fantasy Draft | 2015 Fantasy Draft | 2018 Fantasy Draft | 2019 Fantasy Draft | 2020 Fantasy Draft
What We Need: A GM for each team to select their draftees from the 2020 WNBA Draft Class in ALL 3 Rounds
When: We will begin ASAP (ideally tomorrow, Apr. 8th, since the real Draft is Apr. 15th!). As soon as we have all of our GMs, that Dallas GM will be on the clock.
It'll be a rolling draft, but if you're absent for longer than 12 hours after the previous pick has been made, someone else will get to pick for you. (Waiting til darn near the last minute to do this already puts ya on a time crunch, oopsies.) Consider designating a backup GM for yourself if you want to be a GM but don't feel like you'll be able to check here often. Or you can PM me any potential picks you want me to make with whichever available prospects if you anticipate the possibility of your absence!
And consider which team you want with regards to their picks situation. Teams like Dallas (especially towards the beginning) and Indiana (especially towards the end) have a lot of picks, so you'll have to be super committed time-wise if you want one of those teams!
How It Works: You have just been hired as the new General Manager for one of the 11 WNBA Teams (Unless anyone wants to be Washington's honorary GM, the Mystics will be excluded this year, since they don't have any picks!). It is your job to select the players in the draft positions you have that you believe would be best for your organization! [We will just stick with drafting this year in the order we have.]
If you are interested, post what team you would like to be in charge of. First posted gets the team. You can get a few posters to do it together or you can take on the challenge yourself.

I'll take New York. It's been awhile since I participated in a group event.

We essentially have four more open GM spots: Connecticut, Indiana, LA, and Seattle! If you wanna be super involved & showcase your creativity/player expertise, that Indiana GM spot looks mighty intriguing in particular... (though really all of these remaining ones are)
By the way, I'll be linking my list of the collegiate prospects in the original post. I'll also compile a list of international names by the end of the night! (That one isn't gonna be all that detailed – pretty much just name/height/country lol)
