The Liberty should consider trading J.Jones for 2-3 high-quality role players.....Too often it seems as though Jones is just going through the motions...She was outplayed by Cambage in the Chinese league finals and even Han Xu went off.

But to be honest...I'm not sure what Jones' trade value is....Do teams around the league still consider her a top 5 player?.....Washington/LA could have some interest in Jones.

Heck no! We love JJ here in New York. She carried the Liberty in the playoffs when some of her teammates…disappeared.

Yes yes yes 100% - I think this means she does! Smile

Bummed about Carter though. Worried about post depth and she had loads of potential. Her waiving makes me think Nyara is healthy and ready to go.

They have two cuts to go. Sherrod probably still on the outside looking in.

Is Fiebich included in the final 11? Is she with the team yet? If not will the Liberty be able to use a placeholder? Or does she count even if not with the team?

In short for Sherrod to make it does she have to beat out Dojkic?
Is this where we are at?

Sloot/Dojkic or Sherrod
Ionescu/Davis
Laney-Hamilton/Burke/Fiebich or Martinez
Stewart/Thornton
J. Jones/N. Sabally

I don't understand why they gave Burke a guaranteed contract

Yes Fiebich's there, yes she counts. They likely had to guarantee Burke's money to get her to come. She was with one of the biggest teams in France and would've been blocked by prioritization rules. Guaranteeing her money in the US was probably what made her willing to leave that French contract early and show up on time.

Tore her Achilles in Europe before the trade. Deal was made expecting her to be out this year and first available to NY in 2025.

so I believe this is NY for now

Sloot/Dojkic
Ionescu/Davis
Laney-Hamilton/Thorton/Burke
Stewart/Fiebich
J. Jones/N. Sabally

I'm ready to get on the Davis, Fiebich Dojkic band wagon hope they bring it! When it comes to the bench I guess it's the devil you don't know in NY.

I was a big fan of Dojkic in Seattle last year and was very sad when she left. You're getting a good one.
