Week 6 saw slate of 11 games with 1 cancellation (Green Bay), so with 10 games on the slate ZEES VEEK, ZE BEEK VEENERS ARR:
9 - undersized_post:
9 - summertime blues You both only missed on the MI upset over MD. Good job!
8 - pureform
7 - coyotes
7 - yours truly
....which puts us in THIS order of ranking:
#1: 54 each for pureform & conway gamecock
#3: 53 for howee
#4: 48 for undersized_post
#5: 45 each for summertime blues & coyotes
Next slate of games should be up by Tu/Wed....? Any parties interested in trying their hand at torturing us? Let me know!
I'm considering this juncture in time our *Halftime*. 6 weeks remain, before the tourneys start

Illinois and Iowa's originally scheduled opponents -- Nebraska and Indiana -- are both on a COVID hiatus, so the conference decided to have them play each other instead. It makes since because the Illinois@Iowa game previously scheduled for January 2nd was postponed because Illinois was on its own COVID pause. The game had been rescheduled for Feb. 12, but playing it now frees up the Feb. 12 date for other games that will need to be rescheduled.

I figured....I'll let CG determine on how whether or not to count that game.

I was already on Undersized's naughty list, so picking Burton was easy!

JUST TO REITERATE FOR ONE AND ALL:
Howee wrote: |
* Bonus option: Iowa and NW have some prolific scorers. For 10 points, pick the number (within 3) of the highest individual points made. For another 5 points, name the high scorer. |
Remember, the Highest Scorer's Total Points may well come from a person you did NOT choose as the highest scorer, BUT you can still get those points. For a hypothetical example, I choose Miss Clark. But SHE only gets 15 pts. Miss Burton gets 25 pts. I may have missed on picking the highest SCORER, but I can still get points for getting close enough to the highest point-getter's total. This may well not happen, but....just in case your projected 'high scorer' bombs out that night, you can still earn the *highest point output* bonus.
There's still time to make adjustments in your selection, if you feel that may enhance your choices.
