I’m still surprised that a team with Marina Mabrey, Jackie Young, and Sami Whitcomb can lose to Alanna Smith, Stephanie Talbot, and Kiana Williams.

I hope Shatori's play in Israel gets her a permanent place on an WNBA team this year. She is doing quite well overseas.

Doesn’t look like there’s a lot of WNBA caliber players in that league.

Each team appears to have at least one WNBA player or former WNBA player, and some have more than one, including Shatori's team. FWIW.

She’s played in the WNBA every year, so that’s not so shabby. Do the Mysics seem interested this year?

Hard to tell at this point. My sales rep did mention her in our conversation this week, if that means anything. She is the kind of player who provides scoring and defense and great for building team chemistry.

Awhom, I’m very interested in Cubaj as a draft pick. Can you say what you know about her future national team entanglements?

They are free this summer unless she wants to play in the World University Games of something.
They look set to qualify for EuroBasket next year.
Italy has not qualified for the Olympics since 1996 and the World Cup since 1994 so odd years are the only worry right now. |

Zandalasini is Italian and you see how often she shows up. I guess Covid was an excuse for a year or two.

Re: Spain
Canal Feb, now requires registration to watch the games from the Spanish Leagues, all levels. It is free to watch the games, I believe they are also giving live stats on the screen, too.
