Why is Austin leaving Maryland? That surprised me. Will improve someone's program.

There was an article floating around, maybe on the transfer thread, that her father said it wasn't anything bad, but she wants to play on the wing and Brenda wants her to be in the post.

I wonder if Michigan State is also interested in Jorie Allen. Her older sister Jenna had a pretty solid career with the Spartans just a few years back.

Omaha.com, “Nailah Dillard, a 5-foot-10 guard, announced on Tuesday that she will play at NU next season. Dillard, originally from Sacramento, California, played her freshman year at Texas Tech, where she started two games, appeared in 23 of them and averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds. She also hit 34.6% of her 3-point shots.”

IndyStar.com, “ BLOOMINGTON -- There’s a first time for everything, as Paige Price is proving.
The 6-foot-1 guard from Melbourne, Australia, became the first commit in the 2021 recruiting class for Indiana women’s basketball and coach Teri Moren late Monday night.
She’ll be the first Australian to play for the Hoosiers when she sets foot in Bloomington for the first time next year, which is a result of the coronavirus pandemic preventing Price from taking her official visits this spring.”

Kayla Belles a 6'3 F is transferring from Michigan State to BYU is the school is more in line with her Mormon faith. The sophomore averaged 6.9 and 4.5 this last season in 16 minutes of playing time. She was the Spartans first productive front court player. Merchants 2021 team will be very experienced in the paint.

Nebraska picks up a commit from Kendall Coley ranked the all around #32 player in 2021 by prospects natio. She's a 6 foot 1 wing out of St. Louis Park Minnesota. Her sister, Chase, played at Iowa but Kendall chose between Nebraska and Washington. Her best friend and prep classmates will be a freshman on the husker volleyball team and this reportedly played a factor.

Per Hammerandrails.com, “ Purdue has now added two new players to the fold in the last two days as they former Auburn guard Brooke Moore committed to the Boilermakers today via Twitter.
Moore is listed at 5’7’ and will be playing point guard when she suits up for Sharon Versyp, whether that be the 2020-21 season if the proposed one-time transfer rule goes into effect or the following season.”
The second player is for 2021 per the same source:
“Sharon Versyp picked up her first commit of the 2021 class today as Jayla Smith pledged to the Boilermakers via Twitter.
She chose Purdue over offers by the likes of Butler, Miami (Ohio), Indiana State and Ball State.
Smith is currently a junior at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana which is the same school that produced All-Big Ten Boilermaker Ae’Rianna Harris. She also played on the same AAU team as the prized jewel of the 2020 recruiting class in Madison Layden. It is not out of the question that both Harris and Layden did at least a little recruiting to help secure this commitment for Purdue.”

If there is a more telling sentence about the state of Purdue's program, I can't think what it would be.

True.
I thought this was interesting on Nebraska’s bio for Leigha Brown: “She chose Nebraska over Xavier, Belmont, Western Michigan, Wright State, Indiana State, Youngstown State, American and IUPUI.”....lots of regional choices close to home (except American).

Maryland picks up transfer Chloe BIBBY FROM Mississippi State and grad transfer Katie Benzan from Harvard. Benzan Originally was going to transfer to Texas prior to Karen's contract nonrenewal.
A decent pick up for Maryland. You seem to have some strong leadership coming into the program with these two players. Both are threats from the perimeter so long with Mikasell, they can stretch out the defense.

Michigan State from Lansing State Journal, “ EAST LANSING — The Michigan State women's basketball team has added its third new player this offseason, announcing that guard/forward Matilda Ekh from Västerås, Sweden, has committed to play for coach Suzy Merchant next season.
Ekh joins Penn State transfer guard Jayla James of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and Kendall Bostic from Kokomo, Indiana, who signed back in November, as new additions to the 2020-2021 roster.”
