I am watching the Michigan State versus Notre Dame game, and it is pretty interesting with State being up by 6 at the half. But I found the piece of the game to be very slow, not what I’m used to seeing from Notre Dame. Also, very sloppy on both ends by both teams, and not very good shot selection. And I am not impressed by Brunelle. At least in this game, she doesn’t look very well disciplined

Penn State, Ohio State and Iowa all lost to La Salle, Ohio and Northern Iowa, respectively.
Ouch ...

Indiana has looked impressive this far rolling over teams they should roll over. Now they enter a tough patch. First game on the road is at Florida, which shouldn't be difficult but it is the first road game. Then they take on South Carolina and Columbia. That will be a test. Even keeping it close I eat respectable Will say a lot about the Hoosiers. They return to Indianapolis to host Baylor! Then Wazzu before heading out just after the first of the year to Miami against the Canes. Kick-azz scheduling.

Those games against South Carolina, Baylor and Wash St are in the Virgin Islands. Three days in a row.

The second night was successful as well. The B1G wins it’s first challenge over the ACC.

I wasn’t sure I’d live to see the day when the B1G bested the ACC!
And they did it on a night when the B1G’s preseason #1 lost. Which, BTW, did not surprise me. I think the B1G is gonna be full of surprises this season, and as much as I wish it weren’t true, Maryland is no where near being a lock on finishing first in the conference. From seeing them in an early preseason practice and their games til now, I just don’t feel that they are ready to compete with ranked opponents. I hope I’m wrong. I think the B1G is wide open.

Big Ten gets 11 teams selected by Charlie, far more than any other conference |
This is a bit hilarious. The Big 10 will be lucky to get 8. I guess it's because of the great success against the ACC. Obviously the ACC is a lot weaker this year than it has been.

Two of three top 25 teams in the B1G lost yesterday, including Maryland’s huge loss to Northwestern. This year is going to be a wild ride, I think!

Really, REALLY unimpressed by Maryland yesterday. Northwestern did to them what JMU should've, except the Dukes ran out of gas in the 4th. Good on the Wildcats!
