Cambage’s contract runs through 2019, but she said she planned to re-sign for 2020. She has begun looking at real estate in the city.
“I was so scared of living in Vegas, but it’s so chill. It’s so dope,” Cambage said, adding: “I go out and have delicious meals, and I’ve been to a couple of shows already. Took my mom to Celine Dion. I’m having a very wholesome and humble time living in Vegas so far, and it’s going to stay that way.” |
Okay, that’s a little confusing. Why look at Las Vegas real estate if you’re only interested in playing through 2020?
And why pick up more real estate when you keep saying you’re struggling with your mortgage in Australia?

"now she’s playing on a starting five that is the envy of the league."
I will grant the writer that Cam, McBride, and Wilson are top quality players, but a case could be made that Plum and rookie Young are the worst pair of starting guards in the league. Jackie Young is shooting 30% for the season, and, in her last 6 games, 7-37. Plum's seasonal # is 35%, but over her last 8 games, she is 11-52 (and that includes a 6-9 game). Consider also, that these two guards get great looks b/c of the LV front court threats. Young plays some defense, but Plum must score b/c she gets lost quite often on defense.
I guess if enough other teams suffer major injuries (the Aces are 100% healthy), Lambeer's team could win the title, but count me as skeptical. The writer lauds the 9-5 record, but LV has fed off the weaker teams, getting several games where the opposition was missing key players. In games against the other winning teams (Wash and CT), the Aces have not been competitive

And McBride should have been on that cover too.

That envious starting five, back-court will be what does the Aces in. I guess only time will tell..Bill still thinks this is 2003. The league has gotten smarter since then Billy!

First of all, a point guard who's been a point guard throughout their career! Not some converted pg their senior year in a cute experiment by their coaches..and second..guards that can knock down shots! Young is no shooter. Plum. Eh! It was cute in college...she'll get double digits against the bottom feeders like she has, but any decent WNBA team will shut her and Young down..like they have.

Jamie Nared was at their (half) game tonight and is expected to be signed to a 7-day contract.

It's just beyond bizarre this signing. Was Prince not available two weeks ago when they brought in Nared? It's clear no one else wanted her this season and she's clearly past her prime. Was it a salary cap issue that they can only pay her for the remaining two weeks & playoffs?

I already thought Laimbeer was making it painfully obvious when he started T. Young, but to sign Prince at this point is just a smack in the face to Plum._________________

Plum has improved a lot. Hope she goes somewhere she can be useful. maybe Toliver retires and she goes to Washington. That would be a nice fit.
