Ugly game. Close score the entire game. Now 38-36 Tenn midway through the 3rd Q.

interesting. I kept getting a Spanish commentators version of ESPN. Finally got the English version but thought it cool there was a Spanish version.

Maybe it’s just me, but I was struck how the Lady Vols walked to the bench after the Missouri timeout after that come back. Feel like in the Pat days they hustle to the huddle - maybe it’s an isolated incident but they seemed to casually stroll vs have urgency. Is that a Holly thing or more indicative of the generation?
They just seem way slower paced generally speaking.

Haley Troup is coming up big For Mizzou from long range. I think she was on the South Carolina team just long enough to get an assigned locker before leaving Columbia East for Columbia Middle.

The drama was high though, so it made it entertaining.

So, I`m scratching my head wondering. Does this mean Missouri has finally gotten its act together and become the team people expected? Or is this just a typical Tennessee brain fart?

No more ugly or painful as most SEC games.
Looked like some words were exchanged between Cunningham and a LV player on the court after the handshakes. Sophie would be a home crowd favorite if she chose N Dame, UConn, Tenn or most schools.

This game featured slaps and tickles aplenty. One of the Mizzou players clapped in Hollys face....Sophie was swinging elbows, and then in the passing line at the end of the game, one of the LVs did t high five Sophie so Sophie went after her and made her which brought on the shouts. Plus plenty of booing and mooing from the TBA fans.

It looks like on the post game pass through line, one of the ok support staff passed Sophie up and Sophie confronted her. Then a Mizzou support person intervened and a few of the Vols players started talking.
First win on the Summitt for Mizzou.

Getting Porter back is huge for Mizzou. But I think it's a bit of both. You can never tell which Tenn team will show up. And basically they just ain't as good as all that. They have some super guards and mid-size players and their posts sometimes show potential... but also do the brain fart thing on a regular basis. I think we still haven't seen them play much team ball. Lots of one on one stuff with Westbrook and Davis.

Don't know that she would get away with all the unsportsmanlike antics at those schools. Not game after game and year after year.
She no doubt has the Competitive heart of a lion but that shouldn't excuse her cheap shots and being a poor sport on the court...her brattiness makes it impossible for me to appreciate the positive - doesn't happen often for me. Her sister used to keep her a bit in check when she was on the team. Coach doesn't seem to try... Or maybe she does and this is Sophie toned down...
Can't remember seeing it in other college players and very few are good enough to get away with it as a pro. I don't think she is that good but I guess we will see.

she does have a point...nobody seems to be mentioning the bench person there who didn't offer the high five.

Bottom line is that Tenn couldn't throw it in the ocean today. Miss outshot them by a considerable margin, and Tenn lost even though they got way more shot attempts.

Is there a video of the 3Q elbow to Meme Jackson? Or the clapping in Holly Warlick’s face?

Sophie is a dirty player in the now-famous Pingeton-Mizzou style. She picked up where Jordan Frericks left off. And Lauren Aldrich's clapping in Holly's face was inexcusable and should have gotten an unsportsmanlike conduct call for taunting.
