Curious about our salary cap situation. Knowing it is why we went with 11 instead of twelve. Lyttle still has to be paid (so bummed about the ACL). Little is apparently in a boot (ankle) and unavailable tomorrow. Angel was given additional practice time. Rumors say Minny will sign Erlanger Larkins. Lynetta Kizer, Mistie Bass, and Deveroux Peters have been suggested for us.
Edit to add: Emma Cannon is also an option.

Peters is a good option. Again, Kizer's back is done. I wonder if the Sparks might bring in Bass with Cappie gone.

Certainly one of the scenarios that occurred to me, but they dumped her for a reason. They may well not feel she improves their situation enough to overlook those same issues.
In a move like that, the easiest way to make the trade might be to trade Lyttle herself, plus whatever is necessary to tempt the other team into the deal. It'd be like an NBA trade where you actually have to match salaries (or come close), albeit for slightly different reasons.
ETA: If Little's going to be out for any meaningful time then you'd be eligible for an exception signing, and being up against the cap wouldn't be as much of an issue. Or you just get Talbot to fake a sprained ankle. |

Peters is on the west coast these days . I think her mid range game and rebounding when focused could help this PHX team more than any free agent out there right now . Most similar to Lyttles game IMO .

So is Camille not 100%? Or January? Wonder when Gulich is expected back?

Little, Lyttle and Gulich are all out for tomorrow's game. Mercury with only 8 available. Bonner will be forced to play PF. Wonder if Griner will be forced to play all 40 minutes.

I would suppose Robinson would get at least some playing time. The only other 'biggish' player is Talbot.

It would be nice if all of the teams broadcast by Fox Sports Affiliates (I think Atlanta, Phoenix, Indiana, LA?, MN? and any others) would just include all the games they cover for their teams. So I could watch Fever, Mercury, Dream, etc home games.

I wonder why Musina shows loyalty to PHX? They kind of mucked up her summer or rookie season. If PHX wins the championship I suppose all will be forgiven.

Because she played with DT and BG.
I don’t even know what to make of this. Is she just gonna split Robinson 15 minutes? Is she so much better than Little that Sandy will definitely play her? Just having an extra post?
What is this supposed to do.

I doubt they’ll find magic in a bottle with Musina. Most likely she won’t get anymore playing time than Vadeeva in LA. There’s too much for her to learn. They’ll probably just evaluate her for next year. Hope she does well though.

If she had been here from the beginning of the season id be excited to have her play in front of little . But as others have said she's got a lot to learn in a little amount of time . Luckily all star break is coming up so she might have time to learn a little bit .

Sandy doesn't even play Gühlich, she's not going to play an even worse newcomer.
