Meaning what? No Poles? Eurocup/league has no restrictions. Polish league requires at least one on the floor alle match long.
This however is a bit misleading, our best Pole, a regular starter has back issues and was inactive for the match. |

Do you know if Makurat plans on playing in college or will stay in Europe? I'm sure UTEP is monitoring the situation closely, but it would be nice to have our first real international prospect for the 2020 Draft.

I posted it because I was looking for info on Tori Jankoska and saw this graphic saying that she was starting.. Although I don't know that Jankoska still starts or starts all the time.. |
Eurobasket.com is not a reliable site for starters. For example, they list Nneka Ogwumike as the reserve SF for Dynamo Kursk and don't even list Sonja Petrovic among the 10 pictured. I always check box scores. |
Aye, we should just ban eurobasket.com content unless they really have unique content that can't be found elsewhere.
Polish league statistics can be found here by clicking on the stats tab:

In the domestic league, she has started 5 out of 12 games. Does Jankoska have Polish heritage? |

It all started when Copper had knee issues and was out for 3 games. Then she outplaced Skerović and Makurat was playing the point. In the general idea she's the 6th woman, probably would've had a bigger chance starting if not the one Pole on floor rule.
Polish heritage - none that I have info about. There was no idea of giving her citizenship as far as I know.

I can ask her. I can't find the info, but my memory whispers her contract is multi-year. Her older sister Aleksandra (short: Ola) currently plays for Liberty University, so the path is cleared. |

Turkish Super Cup:

It continues to be interesting to see how Fenerbahce continues to juggle its lineup for domestic league play. It seems like they have been alternating between Plum and Powers now that everyone is healthy. It actually makes sense to play Powers and not dress Plum based on the rest of their lineup, because Vardarli can run the offense and some combination of Senyurek and Cora can stretch the floor, but completely not playing a name player could be an issue. I would be tempted to get Verameyenka as much rest as possible during domestic league games that can be won without her, but they will need her during big games. |

Hilariously, it's an incredibly predictable issue caused by her agents sending her to a Euro team with an established point guard already on the roster. Countless teams in Europe would've handed Plum the keys and stood back to watch (albeit maybe not too many who'd have paid her as much as Fener probably are). |

Bit surprised Agu Spor didn't want to keep her, but maybe now they're out of Europe they're cutting the costs a little. Glad she landed at another good spot so quickly. It's still cool to see a little clutch of Brits making a legitimate living at a good level across Europe. Better than the current class of guys, to be honest, even if none of them have quite reached the level Luol Deng managed at his peak. |

They did end up with six foreigners for four spots, which seems like overkill.
In Fener-watch, Plum did not dress and Powers had a good games in the big rivalry. |

Typical. Istanbul University parted ways with Ibekwe. She's heading to Elizur Ramla (Israel) |

UMMC has already signed Kristi Toliver and Maya Moore. Now we hear that Jamierra Faulkner is already in Russia working out with the team and will join them once her work visa is complete. Maya was already slated to replace Diana Taurasi. Faulkner and Toliver might be there because Deanna Nolan hasn't been able to play.

Nolan's always had the significant advantage of counting as Russian, though. Unless Faulkner's got a passport I haven't heard about, she can't fill quite the same role. |
