Sky backcourt is having a lot of trouble keeping up with the Aces guards.

Plum is hopping around looking happy as a kid.

The Sky has been facing double digit deficits lately.

We went from the Sky coming back from the biggest deficit in WNBA history in Las Vegas and winning by nine. To the Sky losing at home to the Aces by 10 with Commissioner's cup money on the line. Then the Sky losing by 12 in Las Vegas against a Hamby-less Aces team with playoffs home court advantage on the line. And they lost at home to Seattle by 11 in their last home game. They aren't looking like a good bet for the title anymore. They are looking like a team that doesn't have enough athleticism and their skill can't make up for it when the intensity is dialed up.

Aces would have won this by 30+ if they hadn't missed so many layups.

The only way Chicago gets past LV in the post season is for somebody else to beat them.... Confused

The Sky are not as good as they think they are. Last year after getting clobbered by the Aces they had a come to jesus meeting, and they took off like a rocket in the post season. I don't think that's needed again, however, they haven't looked good in a month.

Overall home court will truly on be on the line this weekend, right?
Chicago at Phx
SEA at LV.

I haven't seen the game but looking at the box score, I am puzzled and pissed.

Clearly, we are struggling with turnovers even though we can control that - a recent game with only 7.

Clearly, we are wildly inconsistent with our FT efforts - dang!

We actually outrebounded them?! Shocked

Somehow our shooting %s were about even, but some people on both teams had really bad nights!

I'm so used to the Sky's inconsistency. At the same time, it is hella annoying! Just like all the games being decided on the last play! We should never be in the position where bad calls and missed FTs can make a difference in our outcome, but we continue to put ourselves in that

Part of me is glad we are losing these games - I hope it will help them put into action what they say they know they need to do rather than say it during the post-game press conferences every single game! Rolling Eyes I think they were getting too confident, and ideally this will serve as a wake-up call - and/or they need another come to Jesus meeting!

Am I the only one who thinks that Stokes' best year was her rookie year?
