Wow. I certainly did not see this coming. |
I kinda did.

Just like with Hillsman, once the PR got bad enough there's no stopping it. It's best for everyone in the long run.

Yeap. That's the way it goes most times.
You would think that coaches would have learned that by now.
Kind of makes me wonder if Purdue didn't already have wind of this and Gearlds was the backup plan if it did get out.

I think we might have a winner right here. Not many coaches survive that sort of shitstorm in today's world.

I forget. Did Sharon have a deal to move into a non-coaching position at Purdue at the end of the season?

Not a public one, but I assume there was some kind of handshake agreement.

Interesting article in that it's brief and to the point; I DO find it equally interesting that, in a case like this, there is zero mention of the 2 being a married couple. If it were a hetero couple, might that not have been mentioned?? No biggie, in the final analysis, but....just funny to (still) see a variant standard.

It also refers to her as an asst coach, which she was not. Either way, she is no longer there. Journalism in today's world is just so bad. Articles pop up on my phone for me to read and the amount of spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, etc just boggle my mind. I find it very irritating and frustrating.
