LA is playing a small lineup just like us. This is a game that could go either way but would be a big one to get. After today we have a brutal matchup with Chicago twice. And Atlanta twice won’t be easy. I’d realistically expect to win one of four after today so I’d like to get this one.

LA is fourth in the league in defensive points per possession. Zahui has looked good defensively in my somewhat limited viewing of her.

Amanda is hanging in there defensively as best she can, but Maria Vadeeva is better. She is strong enough to push the likes of Brittney Griner around in the paint, strong enough to hold her own even against Big Bad Sylvia Fowles. Like Amanda, she can step out beyond the arc and rain treys. The Purple & Gold will be solidified in the paint when our Russian Messiah arrives.

well, they're trying to pretend it is some kind of competition.

They put the three rookies on the graphic who are averaging more than 11 minutes per game. Trying to come up with five for an All-Rookie team right now is a hilarious nonsense.

One of the worst halves of basketball I've seen in a long while. New York has 16 turnovers in 20 minutes... and an eight-point lead!!! As a Liberty fan, I'm happy, but this is painful to watch.

P.S. How wonderful that ESPN has Walt Hopkins on a mic so he can say things like "You guys are doing a great job!"

Yeah this is a very ugly game. Offensive rebounding is helping NY a lot. LA is doing a terrible job boxing out.

Kristi went 0-6 in her first six attempts from downtown. Now she has hit 3 of her last 6 attempts from beyond the arc. This setting up for a 4th quarter Kristi shooting exhibition.
