Wonder if we'll see Kennedy Burke make an appearance in this one – she appears to have been a DNP-CD in Friday's matchup. Looks like Coach Quinn isn't going to overtly favor players with the same alma mater as her. Still, I thought Burke might be the best defensive SF out of our bunch, and we as a team could use more consistency on the defensive end.
I kinda wish we would start playing some of our three true SFs together. Otherwise, we don't need all three now if Jewell Loyd will be getting time at the 3 every game (to generally more positive results than negative ones, imo).

Looks like the Wings have Mabrey coming off the bench. She’s proven to be one of the best guards of the early season.
I wouldn’t mind swapping Banham with Mabrey. By that I mean cutting Banham and giving IND’s second round pick for Mabrey. IND’s second round pick (acquired in the bogus Sims trade) should be the most valuable second round pick in next year’s draft.

Why is Mabrey coming off the bench? What is VJ's infatuation with Mojeff? WNBA09 inquiring minds wanna know   |

so Quinn continues to think she can play five scrubs together without a negative consequence. The second team has been terrible.

If you watch Mabrey, she gets 'killed' at least three times every game according to her. Then she miraculously recovers...

Very happy for the Wings.
Storm really should have put that away but Arike refused to die.

Terrific series between these two teams. Dallas, a good and fun to watch team, finally and deservedly wins the deadly dagger duel. |

The buzzer beater aside, the most shocking thing to me was how low scoring of a game it was.

Mabrey is too good to come off the bench.

I always get this wild feeling of cognitive dissonance, when there's two games, and one game has a team winning with a much lower score than a team that got blown out in the other game.

This has been one hell of a start to the 25th season. Buzzer beater after Buzzer beater!

Well we would've won this game tonight had Ogunbowale not made even one of those two amazing down-to-the-wire 3PT hoists – I call them hoists cuz imo they were well-defended. Hats off to her. The way it happened was improbable, but this kind of loss was certainly coming for the Storm.

Following up on this, Quinn actually played Burke and Samuelson together for Burke's entire game appearance (lasted nearly 5 minutes). We were +5 in those minutes. Then she never played Burke again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Don't really know what that's about, seeing as Burke was about as productive as any of our other bench players tonight, in half the minutes...

Yep, we have been seriously blessed this season with all these great finishes.
(Please take note, people who edit the clips that play a dozen times per game on league pass during breaks in play!)
