If Hatar is back and both Ogwumikes are out this could be close.

If Indiana can’t win this game, then both Catchings and Stanley should pack their bags

Well... the WNBA team in the biggest trouble is still the Indiana Fever. Shocked This is an absolute shit show of a performance, even by the Fever's standards.

I wasn't watching...fortunately. But did McCowan get injured? Why did she only play 6 1/2 minutes in the first half? I assumed they could just lob it in to her and let her lay it in.

Indiana is bad---really bad.

After taking a 12-10 lead they managed to go scoreless for 5:58 before getting bailed out on a foul call to score 2 more in the first quarter. They made 5-11 FG to start but went 5-28 the rest of the half. And this wasn't due to stifling defense. Possession after possession they missed open shots. They had 7 offensive rebounds but I believe they only got 2 points off of them.

I know they beat Washington by having Jessica Breland and Bernadett Hatar give them an inside presence, but this team is as bad as any WNBA team in the past 2 decades.

careful what you wish for. if they suck forever, we will be looking at a dispersal draft.

They're sort of on track to suck "forever" either way...

I know it won't happen but I would love to see Laimbeer coach McCowan for a year.

Yeah, they should keep doing what they're doing. Eventually it will work out for them.

Annie Myers-Drysdale just said the whole league was evenly matched on the Phoenix game. She hasn't seen these Pacers.

The Fever were losing by 23 at halftime. Horrible, but they had a full 2nd half to at least chip away a little. Instead, they do nothing of the sort, and end up losing by 35. To an LA team playing in their first game without their star player (amongst others), and with only 8 healthy players, coached by someone who hasn't exactly established a great reputation as a head coach.

I mean, this has to be Rock Bottom for this Fever franchise... this has to be their collective wake-up call... right? Shocked

LA 98 Indiana 63 FINAL

A truly awful game but somehow the game went over so I am happy.
