How come Stewart’s not getting any love? She got love from the broadcasters in last night’s disappointing win.

Love for what? Which milestone has she recently passed, that merits acknowledgement?

It also was a historic outing for Stewart, who became the fourth-fastest player in WNBA history to reach the 2,500-point plateau.

The 26-year-old, who has 2,516 points in 124 games, also passed former Storm standout Lauren Jackson and became the fastest player in league history with at least 2,500 points and 1,000 rebounds.

Since when in the history of @pilight doing this has he ever acknowledged 2,500 points as a milestone? And my memory may be faulty, but I'm pretty sure that he acknowledged the 1,000 rebound milestone, when she actually reached it. Which was last season. How many times do you want her to continue to be recognized for the same thing?

Geez, I was gracious enough to look it up for you, and instead of thanking me, you want to make an argument out of it? You’re the best kind of person (said with a sarcastic tone).

Like I said, the broadcasters last night talked to Stewart about it, and obviously the Seattle Times and other outlets are reporting on it. So pilight must higher standards than everyone else.

That last part wasn’t about the 1000 rebounds by itself. It’s about the combination of 2500 pts (eclipsed last night) and 1000 rebounds. So it must be a notable milestone (elsewhere). Stewart was fastest ever to it. If you don’t find that interesting, why would igaf? Other people might. You’re welcome.

Pilight has a pretty well established set of milestones that he posts here.
There's no rule saying other types of milestones aren't also welcome in the thread, so if you notice one then feel free to post it here instead of complaining about why no one else has.

I wasn’t complaining. I was just curious because again, like I said, the broadcasters mentioned the milestone last night so I was a little
surprised not to see it on here. Not a big deal to me.

@Luuuc's point is the same as mine: @pilight has a long-established precedent for what milestones he does, and does not, acknowledge in these threads. And I know that you've been here long enough to know that, because you've been here longer than me, and I've been here long enough to know that. So your claim to being "surprised" that it wasn't brought up here comes across as disingenuous. The same way it does when you come around every year to register the same complaints about who gets included in the weekly MVP threads, and who doesn't, as if you're surprised, every year, even though you know that his criteria hasn't changed... Why aren't you in the Storm thread, asking them why they aren't making a bigger deal out of this?

I do steals and blocks by 500s. It's just been a while since anybody's reached those.

I don't do points by 500s because players can score 500+ in a single season.

This one made me do some digging. I have to admit, I did not expect to find that Jasmine Thomas is the second-highest scorer from that draft class.
