ok, admittedly it's too early to say that. But this is apparently not a great matchup for her.

The Mercury guard unit is a juggernaut this season. I understand the hesitation to put us in the upper tier, but I am expecting this team to be gunning for a title and actually have the capability to execute it.

That's Sandy for you.

Burdick should've played more than 6 minutes. She was doing pretty good.

Nice double double for BG but...... I didn't even realize she was playing the 4th quarter.

I know this is the first game of the season and teams are still building chemistry but if this team doesn't perform well.... I vote for Sandy to go.

I thought her and Sophie did fine with their minutes. Made the right decisions and played solid defense for the short times they were out there. We lose this game because she refuses to make adjustments and pull veterans when they are struggling.

I agree. Smith could've gotten more minutes in the 2nd too. I know she had the 2 bad fouls but goodness. Don't punish her the entire game. Peddy was arguably the best defender outside of BG and Briana Turner.

I didn't like the shot selection from Skylar, Kia, and Diana in the 3rd and 4th. Like at all. Some you will miss but no.

BG not taking a shot until late in the 4th is not good either. She's 6'9' for a reason.

The trash 3rd quarters just don't make sense. Is it the other team making adjustments? Or is it Sandy being a trash coach? Like, I just don't understand it. So much talent and just an entire collapse. Teams will make runs but it shouldn't be that significant.

I put it into a simple (not accurate to the frame) video editor on my phone and came up with 1.1 - 1.2 seconds
