Also, Kalani Brown has not actually been waived

Fever suspend Julie Allemand for the full season and Bernadett Határ temporarily

Can Atl afford 12 because they waived SWK? That would make a lot more sense for why they did it as it looked like SWK was close to a lock

Does someone take a swing at K. Brown?

Depending upon the team and circumstances, if one can fit her in, one could give her a swing. At 6'7", 300 lbs., she'll get 6 fouls, send her in and let her bounce some people around a little once in a while. This would be right up Laimbeer's alley, if he didn't already have Liz.

Laughing it's true. she has looked like she thought her biggest asset - her height - was all she needed.

You'd think some team will pick her up.

How about Phoenix temporarily? No Kia Vaughn until she both comes back & gets cleared, plus Anigwe is actually from Phoenix.

Actually, scratch that – I just remembered the Anigwe-Griner incident from a couple years ago lmfao. Embarassed

Am I really the only one who just doesn't think Anigwe is very good? Temi Fagbenle is the wildly superior player whenever they've shared the floor for Great Britain, by way of comparison.

Yeah, I agree, but she can still be useful. Has attitude, will always fight hard, can't shoot but can rebound.

The Lib would have been her 6th different team. We haven't had a six team player in the league since Lindsey Harding in 2016. We had a few other opportunities but Essence Carson didn't get picked up, Allie Quigley stayed put, and Jessica Breland went back to a team she played for previously. Two players will be playing for their 5th different team this year:

Betnijah Laney Chicago, Connecticut, Indiana, Atlanta, New York
Shavonte Zellous Detroit/Tulsa, Indiana, New York, Seattle, Washington

I remember Laney as an athletic high energy defensive-type for Chicago and then last year she became a big offensive threat (17.2 ppg) . Major improvement in her offensive skills. 35 point game last year and started this year with a 30 point game.
