PAC 12 is set, running from Mar. 2-6.
Anybody else have their conference bracket info yet?

Before the season even started, the CAA informed JMU that because they were changing conferences (to the Sun Belt) next year, no athletic teams other than football, the big moneymaker obviously, would be allowed to play in any postseason conference tournament. I have therefore chosen not to post anything about their sorry mediocre conference's tournament.
Sure, JMU has not had a very good season. Part of that has probably been because of injuries to key players, but a couple of the team moms have told me that the conference's pronouncement that JMI didn't matter to them "took the heart right out of the team."
I'm just saying NO to the determinedly mediocre CAA.

I know the B1G information is somewhere on this page, but the black banner is the only thing we can see after the page fully loads. We’ve been having this problem on iOS mobile devices for a week. Ack

MAC Tournament set. Toledo had an exceptional year! Unfortunately, the MAC will be just a one team, automatic bid conference this year so Toledo will have to win the MAC championship to advance to the NCAA tournament.

shadowboxer, I'm curious about how the seedings came to be: Kent State, which finished 8th in the standings is not in, but 9th place finisher Ohio IS in. Also (not that it really matters, but....) why are the 4/5 seeds reversed from league standings?

I mean, the logic looks convoluted. You have to feel sorry for Kent State that they somehow don't make it into the tournament - but if they're applying THOSE rules, like, there's some sort of logic in that insanity. If I'm Toledo though, I'm filing an appeal and asking that Kent State be allowed to play instead of Ohio.
