I wonder if Antonelli knows there's another team on the floor Rolling Eyes (edited: originally thought it was Peck.)

Officiating that favors the higher seed continues (Boston's elbow to get around Cubaj).

You're referring to the 3rd foul that Cubaj picked up defending Boston. One, Cubaj was shoving Boston in the back with both arms - that alone was foul-worthy. Then Cubaj leaned into Boston as she was trying to turn to lay the ball up, and then flopped obviously to bait the charge.

But thirdly, this wasn't going to work anyways, because Cubaj's left foot was still in the restricted area when she flopped off of Boston as Boston was taking her shot - Cubaj was mostly in the restricted area entirely during the entire exchange, but she stepped her right foot outside of the arc before flopping.

It was clearly a blocking foul by rule, and it could've been a blocking foul even before the action that resulted in the foul being called....

Not a minute after that Zia Cooke had the ball and did a spin move on her defender who only had her forearm on Cooke's back, and the GT defender just falls down - no body contact at all - and they called Cooke for a charge. You were watching a different game than what this thread was for.....

It was South Carolina's 3-pt shooting that kept GT at bay. How weird is that.

Is Antonelli contracted with Dawn Staley and/or the University of South Carolina? Laughing

Nah, she’s ACC all the way, but she lives next door in NC, I think.

I'll take Antonelli's commentary over Lobo and that guy she's always with any day. I can't stand them
