Nice to see Littell honored after a 'comeback' kind of a season, when his team was predicted to come in 8th in the league.

About every 5 years, he overachieves for a season. Still not the greatest coach for a P5 team, but he surprises every now and then

I can assure you he took over as interim head coach in November 2011, and was elevated to permanent head coach in December 2011. That would make this season his tenth. OK State seems to also agree with that as well.
But even if he hadn't been there a decade, the general gist I was trying to make is his teams don't live up to expectations based on relevant talent levels(in comparison to other Big 12 teams) much more than they match or exceed that the expectations based on relevant talent level. Maybe I should've just wrote it that way
