Game is getting a little chippy in the third. A tense moment where Mingo-Young and Pointer stepped to each other and then Mingo-Young was jawing ar LSU’s bench. Offficals taking a look at it now.

ETA: double technical on both players involved. Mississippi State’s Mingo-Young subsequently fouls out with that ruling and LSU goes up 8 with 2 minutes left in the third.

Wow. if LSU pulls off the upset, does Mississippi state even make the ncaa tournament? who have they beaten, really?

Not an upset this year. LSU had the better conference record as you can tell by the seedings.

Still, a nice win for LSU, who Creme had as out of the tournament and Miss St. as in. Will be interesting to see what happens when they meet the Aggies tomorrow.

I teach at LSU, so I am hoping for a huge upset tomorrow.

Coming into this season, most people would have considered this win to be a substantial upset, had they not been able to follow the season results.....
