She, like Warley-Talbert, never fit in their remaining space. Drawback of having enough years of service to get the vet minimum of 70,040 rather than the base minimum of 58,710.

Yes, invite 100 different people to fight for basically one spot, end up keeping the one you had already who missed basically the whole of the preseason. Don't you just love training camp?

And the bottom players will have almost no impact on the season -- of course, if they do, you're doomed anyway.

That is a pretty scary and balanced starting line-up. They really need Bria healthy for some bench scoring though

Burdick added as a Hardship player. She's sort of the professional temporary replacement for anyone looking for experience.

Man, the Mercury have been so frustrating to watch the last few seasons. So much talent but even the wins are grueling. I would've loved to see them come out and blow MN out of the game like they should be fully capable of doing. A win is a win.

Interesting to see what we will get in CT and DC. I'll be attending the DC game. Delle Donne will likely still be out then, right? Bummer as I'd love to see her play.

That quote makes me not even want to read the story. I don't want any context. I just want to sit back and revel in that one line.

Because this is Phoenix and the Brigade we're talking about, I did go read the article for context. It is exactly the context you would expect.

Sadly when I first saw a link to the article it was with a picture that gave away the type of ass. It's better with mystery.

Dang that sucks.

Oof. Maybe this will focus the ball more towards Griner and SDS, which is honestly what they should be doing anyway.

The other R word. Retirement.
