It was very encouraging for 2022. Imagine if nothing else had been different this season but the Liberty averaged only nine turnovers per game. What would their 12-20 record have been instead?

Obviously the team needs more size, but I strongly agree with what you've said about depth. We haven't discussed that enough. The players who came off the bench last night were Richards (12 minutes), Onyenwere (nine), Gray (nine), and Jones (three). Together they scored 13 points, eight by Gray. New York needs more off the bench in 2022. Onyenwere (if she's not starting) and Richards can certainly improve. But it sure would be nice to have a roster with more depth and a serious scoring threat (like Johannes) coming off the bench.
