A Libertarian Party operative who worked on the Gary Johnson/William Weld ticket in 2016 will be unenthusiastically holding his nose and vote for Joe Biden in 2020.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/opinions-i-m-a-libertarian-political-operative-but-i-m-voting-for-biden-this-time/ar-BB1aCaw0?ocid=msedgdhp

Quote:
But even a lifelong Libertarian like me realizes that this time around, voting for my party’s ticket could only diminish my vote against Trump. In the face of Trump's xenophobic demagoguery and the Democratic base flirting with socialism, Libertarian Party delegates complacently put forth a ticket of ideologically rigid unknowns who are selling theories of libertarianism, as if this campaign were unfolding in a vacuum — or a college dorm.

The guy who is given credit for organizing the Charlottesville rally Richard Spencer, has endorsed Joe Biden. So Joe Biden is also a white supremacist if we follow your logic.

Apparently white supremacists don't believe in enforcing workplace hiring laws which is violated by rich employers and non-white illegal alien workers as Trump has never done it or even said he would do it. He mentioned e-Verify (a system to verify if a worker is a legal resident) only one time that I could find (The Resistance should give him props for also not enforcing immigration law in the workplace just like previous presidents - the rich were able to continue to not hire Americans). Nor has Trump ever called for ending or slowing the infinite immigration policy which is utilized almost exclusively by non-whites. Just what do white supremacists and neo-Nazis advocate if not enforcing immigration law and ending legal immigration? It seems like if you are referring to yourself or being labeled by others as a white supremacist, and yet don't actively protest a policy that will make whites a minority by 2050 (by one prediction), your label needs to be changed.

Richard Spencer is a racist moron. He must have lost a drunken knife fight to endorse Biden. In any case, you have ONE of the white supremacists idiots vs the masses, who comingle their Nazi/Confederate battle flag with their Trump flag. You are funny. Pretending you don't know who the white supremacists support for President. Look at the crowds. A few black people are paid well to stand behind the podium while the masses of white covidiots spread the virus widely at MAGA rallies.

And...DUH...Trump clearly hires people without documentation...he knows full well that a wall won't keep them from crossing as long as people like him are flying them in to work for cheap. Just like he talks about "bringing manufacturing home" while having all his clothing lines made in China. So he's a bold faced liar. We already knew that.

Richard Spencer is the only white supremacist we have both a name and a candidate preference for.

The percentage of black people who support a Republican president or candidate is low, but it isn't that low that you have to pay a black person to show up at a Trump rally. Exit polls show Trump boosting his black vote by 50%, from 8% in 2016 to 12% in 2020 (black men went from 13% to 18%). Only Reagan in 1980 and Dole in 1996 have gotten as high as 12% in the last 40 years.

No one is commingling Nazi flags with Trump flags and no one equates the Confederate flag with the Nazi flag. There are a ton of Trump car caravans and boat flotillas on YouTube. If you watch them you will see two flags being flown - Trump 2020 and American. If anyone flew a Confederate flag in them they are in a insignificant minority. People voted for Trump in all 50 states both times, not just in the 14 states of the former Confederacy.

Nice that you, while being mostly hostile towards him, gave props for him wanting an illegal workforce just like Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Obama, Clinton and other Democratic leaders. The parties are in complete agreement on that clerisy-sanctioned breaking of federal law.

But you should also give him credit for an (ineffective) attempt at bringing jobs back from China (I think he did speed up the movement of China jobs to Vietnam which is good for the world). The job export harmed American workers and ultimately the country, and is unsustainable. I think the clothing lines that he was paid for licensing his name to were all dropped before he took office. And it wouldn't matter if Macy's Trump ties were made in China or India or Bangladesh, if he works to get manufacturing jobs in the USA for American workers instead of foreign workers - he is working on behalf of American workers and against the companies who prefer to hire foreign workers. And that would include anybody making Trump labeled merchandise, if that still exists.

Hopefully the media now no longer feels the need to report on every last bit of fecal matter that spews forth out of the orange man's mouth. I get that you're between a rock and a hard place when he's President...but once he's out of office (hell, even now that he's a lame duck.).

But I have a feeling they won't be able to control themselves. That he'll be like a drug to them and they'll keep going back for their fix...

Looks like it is telling Trump that will be the problem.

While election totals appear to increasingly narrow against Trump’s reelection, MSNBC’s White House correspondent said, “I had one person close to the White House tell me, ‘No one is willing to tell King Lear the truth.”

Meanwhile CNN’s White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins also reports that she too was told that discussions are being held about how staff will get him to go.

Despite everything, this is a beautiful day. I feel personally liberated like I haven’t felt in years. This nightmare of Trump is no longer looming behind every thing I might write. I am free of him. I can now attack like I have NEVER attacked before, my own party. And I’m telling you all here (but it won’t end here) I’m on the fucking warpath. My mother founded the Democratic Women of Aliquippa. I want that Democratic Party back and I want to destroy the modern Democratic Party in the process. I’m just one little voice but that’s never discouraged or stopped me before.

And just to be clear, I’m not celebrating Biden and Harris. Fuck them. But I will celebrate the end of the Trump presidency, which cannot get here soon enough.

This, THIS, and THIS.

I strongly believe the media has much culpability in this entire debacle, for the last 5 years. As part of the corporatocracy, we see their unbridled greed = need to feed the masses.

(DON'T breathe a word of this, but....can you imagine the very real opportunity that Trump creates his own 3rd Party? He could pull that off like no one else. The Party of Orange. Really. I fear we're not done with him yet.)

It's a shame this little episode got kinda lost in the mix, because to me it was highly amusing.
It's even in my search results down here...

Yeah, Luuuc. You can't make this shit up.

The Trump Presidency Ended Next To A Porno Shop

Quote:
Working the desk was Zarif Jacob. A longtime resident of the area, Jacob told me he was once a commercial and residential architect. After retirement, he cycled through a variety of jobs. Now he was working the desk at Fantasy Island bookstore.

I figured he was as good of a person to ask as any: Why was this even here? He didn’t have an answer. “This is so stupid,” he told me. “He lost. He knows he lost Pennsylvania. And he’s losing other states as well.”

As an architect for 25 years, Jacob knew plenty of people in the area who’d dealt with Trump, who once ran casinos in Atlantic City. He was not a fan.

“I never understood why people like him,” he said. “I know him very well. When I used to be an architect, he was building Taj Mahal [casino in Atlantic City]. He screwed a lot of people. A lot of people went bankrupt because he didn’t pay. All his casinos went bankrupt because of him. And he wouldn’t even admit it! He said, ‘Atlantic City went down because the people running it are stupid.’ And you are the genius?”

When I first read this the other day, I thought it was a joke, fake news if you will.

And then I began seeing more and more of it. I finally decided that it was for real. Makes me almost feel sorry for Rudy and Trump. But then I think, no, this just shows what an incompetent administration this has been. It puts the visual on a shit-show within a dumpster fire that we've dealt with the last 4+ years.

And so fitting that it was Rudy. 🤣🤣

I do feel bad for any negatives that the businesses are experiencing. Hopefully they can not become the butt of the jokes and people will go support them.

It was reported a day or two ago that based on what insiders told the reporter, Trump privately accepts that he lost and that Kushner and Melania are pushing him to concede. His most ardent supporters want him to continue to fight but I saw that there isn't much time for that. There were two dates by which it all has to be wrapped up by law. One was in late November and the other in early December, but I forget what each date applied to.

He may be being pushed by Republicans. Mitch McConnell is now public in that he doesn't accept the results that Joe Biden has won and that Trump should continue to fight. And why wouldn't they want to fight. The picked up house seats, probably maintained their advantage in the Senate, and Donald fucking Trump, after all the shit that he has said and done the last four years, after being impeached, after coronavirus has killed over 230K Americans, got more votes, over 70 million, than any other presidential candidate with the exception of his opponent.

Clearly a big assumption by him about the "caliber" of that something, because from the clips I saw of it, the location turned out to be totally on point.
