I'd say this game time favors Stanford.

I don't think late times for East Coast teams are nearly as bad as the early times for West Coast teams. Most people-especially students -stay up late on a regular basis...but getting up early is something else.

Depends on the person. OSU started out like zombies after having a great game yesterday.

And may they continue thusly...

Not quite. She was 3/16 from 3 (19%) coming into the game.

I'm talking about this game compared to the Notre Dame game.

The Notre Dame situation was less excusable because the Irish knew coming into the game that Laksa was the main offensive force for the Bulls. Wilson was averaging 1.5 points/game coming into to tonight's game against the Buckeyes.

I was making a joke, but humorless people can't seem to pick up on that kind of thing.

Same goes for you. After all the work I've done with this forum this holiday weekend, do you really think I want someone being anal about everything I say, even something as glib as calling Wilson the Laska of Stanford? How about not engaging me? That would make me much pleasant and happy.

...and back to the game. Tara really does not like it when her players miss free throws. She has some work to do with this group.

Smith makes some beautiful baskets but still looks pretty awkward. At least she CAN score...unlike most of the rest of our inside corps. I still have hopes for young'uns Dodson and Fingall to improve but Kaylee can't even make layups on a regular basis.

McGuff is pretty disgusting with all his belly aching to the refs.

Myrtle, you paid for the stream, or do you have a secret hookup?

Yeah, I paid for it. Too many games I didn't want to miss. But my eyes are starting to cross from all this basketball.

So what happened in those last 3 seconds after the time out? Oh St didn't get off a shot?

From live stats, it looks as if two Tara timeout plays worked for layups in the last 36 seconds.

You get all the FloHoops games for one price? I don't even know how much it costs. I like the free stuff, like the video on Gopher game tomorrow.

Looks like Ohio State fouled at the rim up 3, and then gave up another layup out of the timeout up 2. Tara outcoaching McGuff, OSU bad defense and/or low bball IQ, neither would be surprising.

Maybe someone who can actually see the game would like to clarify?

In the last three seconds. the ball came in to Mitchell as expected and she was doubled so she passed off to Hart who missed a three.

21 pts from Wilson and 31 pts from Smith is something you should expect never.

Mithchell should have just forced it. Hart didn't make a shot all night. Maybe Mitchell would at least have drawn a foul.

doesn't matter now. Mitchell is a beast...even on a night when her shooting was off early, she was still the difference in the end.

Tara's not giving up. Help Mitchell to 40 pts.

A 13-0 run is not a good thing in OT if you're the 0.

Smith can score a lot. Wilson we don't really know about. She was out most of last year with injury so may be (hopefully) just coming into her own. She was highly touted coming in. Here's an interesting article on her dealing with injury last year: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2690875-with-big-brother-russells-help-anna-wilson-fights-for-her-basketball-career
