...bought both of my high schoolers an iPod shuffle, also...belated Christmas gifts...very cool!

i can't WAIT to tell my guys at work. coupla pc'ers who're pizzed (read: jealous) that steve jobs is out there selling the hype. one asked me today, "so, bibb, is anyone actually buying that shuffle? personally, i think the stategy is brilliant: the stuff is designed for you to always be drooling for the upgrade, y'know? folks'll buy the shuffle because they don't wanna fork over the $250 but for $99 they can buy into the "pod" franchise. mac folk want the mini 'cause not only is it cool, but it is the proverbial digital hub. pc folk want the mini 'cause, with a kvm switch, they too can buy into the mac franchise and keep telling themselves they're firmly rooted in pcs. what some don't realize is that the mini's more powerful, more loaded than a LOT of not-quite-new macs out there. i don't know many people who have g4 yet, panther yet, let alone ilife.

okay, i'm done, but boy, do i envy YOU!
