I am certainly surprised by this, especially in light of rumors of discontent between Coach Gardner and Ruby Vaden.

I'm a little surprised as well. I agree with her statement on injuries, but the recruiting has been very poor. The four commitments she recently received sound like nice perimeter players, especially the latest in Tanisha Smith, but we have to get some skilled post players. I believe there are only two players on the roster this year over 6-0 and one will be coming off an ACL injury.
