The nice thing about limited fields is you have a built in lock to a great leader board. This year is no exception.
Kim Song Hee leads at 7 under, but the homers are sprinkled in there as well.
I'll take Kim Song Hee, Creamer, and Lang against the field, they are all due to win a golf tournament.
Bottom line though, the best player wins and that player is Shin Jiyai. |

Game on, the Golf Channel. The LPGA is so fucked up schedule wise, I forgot the damn thing was on yesterday.
BTW, even though I'm a solid homer, my money is on Shin, and it doesn't hurt that her clothing sponsor is the Golden Bear!
ETA: Hee Hee, my favotite player is Bam Bam ( Lincicome), but rooting for her is like betting on the joker, very inconsistent, but make no mistake, when she is in the hunt, it's like calling 7 card stud, Bam Bam is wild |

Wow! Kudos to Ochoa, I think she has created a truly special tournament, the course looks good on TV, and of course, the competitors are all great.
More important, the Golf channel actually extended their coverage to show the end of a Friday round, Fuck you ESPN.
At this stage it's apparent that Shin Jiyai is your eventual winner.
But that is the beauty of golf, you never actually know, you just place your bets.
But you have to bet on Shin, every golfer who has ever played a tournament knows the pressure, it's inescapable. That is why it's such a great game. But Shin is one of those players that embraces the pressure, very rare indeed. |

It is a good thing for the winner and the LPGA as a whole, that's for sure. |

The ESPN networks puts a greater priority on college/pro football and the NBA than they do with golf. Now that the college basketball season has started, golf takes a back seat...even further back.
They won't show golf unless it's a truly major tournament or unless there's no b-ball or football games that coincide.
