Oh well... I guess I should have gotten up earlier today to read the papers anyways... Confused

BTW, any chance you can find a way to get Jugita Streimikyte's game-by-game stats? I can't find it anywhere Shocked I'm not even really sure what she looks like either Razz Also, Iziane's last name needs to be hyphenated, not underscored in order for her's to work...

It does? Jugita, is jurgita in the game by game stats, but iziane works for me, am I missing something? I changed it right off the bat, because it didn't work with the hyphen.

This is an American thing, as well as how they pronounce her name... Rolling Eyes

Let's see...it's kinda like if you put together Izi and Anne...only that the "Ane" part in Iziane isn't pronounced correctly. It would sound more like Izi plus "Ani", given that the "A" has the latin sound, which is sort of a nasal "ah" when it's next to "N" or "M". Not sure you understand all this, but I'm trying lol
But then again, I was listening to the Shock feed the other day, maybe David Locke pronounces it correctly.

Yeah, the broadcasters seemed to alternate pronounciations of Ani and Anne. They even alternated pronouncing Marquez as Mar-keees Shocked I guess it's similar to how Gisele's name got changed from Gisely.. You should watch the archived video feed BCBG. There's a TV time-out spot early in the game about Iziane. She goes on a huge Seattle ferry and does some announcing and steering... Razz


Well something must have happened from the dot com site, as both Jurgita's and Izzy's game-by-game stats work now. Thanks anyways. BTW, any chance you could get Niele Ivey's affiliation changed from DET to PHO?
