Nice to see an NEC team getting an early jump on the upcoming season. Heck, it's nice to see a prospectus period.

Hate to admit it, but for the first time in seemingly ages. the conference title is up for grabs. Have to say the frontrunners are Robert Morris and Sacred Heart. If the Red Flash do manage to do it again this year, then Jill Poe should be given a huge raise and a long contract extention.

Kahlia Cain is a tremendous athlete coming in to SHU. Played on the state champion Manchester HS team that went undefeated. Explosive and a great defender.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to follow her accomplishments in the coming years. The question remains, however, as to why she didn't take her game down to Loretto?

Do you know anything about the big center SH is bringing in from RI, Sowinski?

no; being in Hartford area, there is virtually no coverage of the Bridgeport area as silly as it seems.

I know of Cain because (a) Manchester is close by and (b) several members of that team play AAU ball on the older program in Dani's organization.
