We had the Magnificent 7 back in 96 -- maybe these kids would be the Fantastic 6!! They're throwing everything and the kitchen sink at everyone!

P.S (and OT): I LOVE this commercial w/ the "greek" discus thrower ruining a Parthenon-like building! LOL!!! It cracks me up!

They're the home country...if they're close to the top, they're gonna get fudged numbers. Not saying it's right, but that's what typically happens at the Olympics.

It would be more gratifying to beat China when they're at their game. So that no one can say the only reason USA won was b/c China sucked! Smile

These scores are starting to concern me..I never expected the men to be this close..but the women are competitive with China...and unfair nudging will really hurt.

The judges aren't Chinese though, right?

3 compete, all 3 scores count.

Gold is almost impossible, hang in there for silver!
