wow..i was just watching and thinking how totally awesome they are...
China has staged an opening ceremony that totally evokes the beauty, the history, and the spectacle of itself and its greatest commodity - its people.

U beat me to it about all those damn commercials. I'd rather watch American Gangster for the 1000 time than sit through commercial after commercial after commercial.

Yes, it's been amazing so far. They are doing things with people you could only imagine accomplishing with technology. Very nice so far.

Oh and can I just say GET RID OF THE CHEERLEADERS!!!! They're hideous!! By the time China comes around some of them will be passed out from exhaustion!! Yeah if the darn cheeleaders were from the 1950's. Look at the length of those skirts. I thnk the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders would've been a wee bit better!!! LOL!!!

What they did wasn't so amazing to me, that they did it with so many people was amazing, but the pace was so slow, it became so b o r i n g. . . . Amazing doesn't keep it from being boring.
