Here's hoping that the Games are more exciting than the Opening Ceremonies.

I never even bother watching that, at any games. Just doesn't do it for me.

wow..i was just watching and thinking how totally awesome they are...

China has staged an opening ceremony that totally evokes the beauty, the history, and the spectacle of itself and its greatest commodity - its people.

We have a compromised protest here. I get to watch the ceremony and my partner gets to turn it during commercials.

U beat me to it about all those damn commercials. I'd rather watch American Gangster for the 1000 time than sit through commercial after commercial after commercial.

Yes, it's been amazing so far. They are doing things with people you could only imagine accomplishing with technology. Very nice so far.

I actually liked the ceremonies!! I could do without the damn commercials though...annoying!! Especially during the parade of nations. You cut to commercial and oops, there goes your country!! Rolling Eyes

Can't they have someone sponsor the entire thing without commercials???

What they did wasn't so amazing to me, that they did it with so many people was amazing, but the pace was so slow, it became so b o r i n g. . . . Amazing doesn't keep it from being boring.

And nobody will be using to music to work out to.

Bush looked bored too. Checking his watch.
