Television personality Bob Barker has donated $1 million to Duke Law School to create the Bob Barker Endowment Fund for the Study of Animal Rights Law.

The professor quoted in the article is William Reppy, one of the country's leading experts on animal rights law. I was Professor Reppy's research assistant for two years.

Not always, but for a long time. They used to give away furs on The Price is Right, until Barker got excited about the issue.
