Ryan F. (Tiburon, CA): Hi Alana! I know you're an all-around great player, but do you have a Goto move or a certain play called for you that you like?

Alana Beard: I like the play that's called, "Give Alana the Ball" I'm just kidding, that is just a joke. Honestly people have been playing me to my left and this summer I worked really hard on making the same moves to my right to counter that.

Ali That Girl, Orlando: Hey Alana and Tameka what songs get you crunk before games?

Alana Beard: I listen to gospel music, Mary-Mary.

Temeka Johnson: Me too, and I listen to Ruben too.

Temeka isn't talking about the Sumo of Soul, Ruben Studdard, is she? Shocked

Isn't there a Gospel themed restaurant called, "Hamburger Mary - Mary's?"

I was thinking about the HUGE servings at that place yesterday. I'd swear that chicken sandwich had a whole chicken in it!

Are we having space issues? Shocked The limit for the title header is only 3 characters longer than ESPN's... Confused

BTW, it looks like the complaints have worked---the post limit was expanded to 1500 from 1000 (including title)

Don't know, but there is a marvelous gay-owned restaurant by the name of Hamburger Mary's in Fort Lauderdale that offers up killer Bloody Mary's for Dolphins games, and has waiters serving up the checks in Judy Garland's ruby slippers.

Same chain Blue.

The local Hambuger Marys now serves an excellent Mary Cheney Burger Twisted Evil that they advertise on Air America Radio.

Hamburger Mary's is the Brigades second favorite hang out, behind Majerles of course

Like the real Mary Cheney, the burger is hidden on the back of the menu and people are in denial about how many calories it has.

Blue, there are TWO Hamburger Mary's restaurants in the Valley...one in Phoenix, one in Scottsdale.

The Scottsdale location has a much higher class of clientele, which is why the Brigade goes to the Phoenix location.

LOL! We stayed in Scottsdale and didn't realize there was a Mary's nearby. Of course, being there in late Aug-early Sept, we didn't get out of the pool much except to go to the game and the mall after sundown!

We simply must have rainchecks!
