I was watching the Seattle/Sac series over the weekend and I think the main reason why they lost is because they were inflexible. They kept on trying to guard LJ like they did Lisa Leslie but LJ is obviously not Lisa Leslie and while they have a rivalry, they are stylistically quite different. LL is the traditional low block player who has some perimeter skills while LJ is essentially a Euro-type forward who has some post skills. Sac stuck to their "white line defense" and LJ (in fact, most of the Storm team) had a lot of good perimeter looks and knocked most of them down, whereas the Sparks couldn't exploit the Narchs' weaker perimeter D. Whit is a decent coach but he needs to be more flexible in game situations.
