Sun coach Mike Thibault, who planned to give his players a day off, held a workout in conjunction with the Storm, who were searching for a place to practice before an exhibition today at New York. Thibault and Storm coach Anne Donovan figured it was a good opportunity to share ideas.

The teams went through drills on adjacent courts. Most of practice was closed to the media, but Thibault and Donovan said they planned to have their players work together and possibly conduct a short scrimmage.

"They were looking for a place and we were looking for something to do," Thibault said. "These things can be helpful. You can learn from one another, bounce ideas around."
