Dani's U10 Connecticut Spirit team went 3-0 in pool play (closest game was by 12), beat a tough semi-final opponent by 10 and on we go...

next Saturday at Yale University vs. the Connecticut Storm for the state championship as they seek back-to-back state titles!

She loved reading everyone's good luck comments! She thought it was so cool having people all over the country wishing her luck. Thanks all! Very Happy

Here's a couple of pictures from the weekend. If anyone can tell me how to get around the copyright block to save it as a jpg, even with the words on it so I can send to my family I'd appreciate it.

I thought the photographer was selling prints. I suppose if it was a really high res and you have access to a good printer with archival ink...(epson2200 and Museo© paper)
If she was my kid, I think I would have to cough up the money. Those are great shots!

Either prints or jpegs. I bought last year, and it was a print off a color printer, not a "photograph" so if I buy I think it will most likely be the jpeg.

Dani is very gifted academically, so it will be Duke over UConn.

Stanford over Duke? Laughing

The Lin Dunn bobblehead will be sending out good vibes for Dani and her team.

We'll use Tim Tams to convert her into a pseudo-Aussie and then send her to the Mercury to continue our tradition of Aussie PGs.

Is she even a PG? I have no idea what position she plays!

Well Cam, if she wants to work at a better resturant she'll be attending Duke. Otherwise, it is all UConn. Wink

She's a wing; some point in a pinch. She needs to improve her right hand (she's lefty). Bad news on the Aussie front though, she doesn't like the chocolate honey comb thing. I thought that was an Aussie requirement!

She doesn't like Violet Crumbles? That's ok, we have heaps of other confectionary to get hooked on. Violet Crumbles aren't a big personal fave of mine either.

That's it! My friend from Seattle sent us some; I loved them, she didn't. That's okay, she's an M&M's kid for sure!
