Does anyone know what the deal with Strom's injury is?

If she is out for the season, I don't really understand her signing with Conn with Phillips coming maybe next year. I would think Strom would want to be somewhere she could prove herself. Hopefully she gets well soon and can earn a spot in the league. I think she is leagues better than Conlon and Deverjanik. Her scoring probably isn't strong enough to try to play the 2, but perhaps she can improve and be a good passing 2.

Jess sprained her ankle in the Big 10 tournament and I think she re-injured in the pre-draft camp.

I'm psyched on the signing, too.

Jess said her ankle was OK the day of the draft, so I'm assuming the injury was minor and she's ready to compete.

To me, it's looking tougher and tougher for Conlon.

With Strom, Valek, and Jen D. in also battling for those two PG spots, I don't see Maria making the cut.

If all of these players are playing for the point guard spot, that leaves exactly nobody to back-up KT. Do they move Whalen/Sales over to the 2 when a point guard or another wing comes in?

Sales and Douglas are interchangable parts. Futrell played some backup last year. I think the plan this is year is Wycoff to back up the 3, and KT/Keesh to slide to the 2 most of the time. Whalen will probably also play some 2, but I don't think a whole lot, unless her shot has improved a whole lot!

Don't fret about Whalen's shot...I will take her floor administration over her ever taking a shot, unless of course, she is driving to the basket for a higher percentage shot...after juking in the air to beat the bigs inside.

Go Lil' Petey...

Oh heck yeah 4ever! You know we're huge Lindsay fans! I'm determined to get Puppy Whalen to meet her this season.
