Edwards injured in a lot of pain in Q3 and out for the rest of the game with what is possibly a broken nose. Bueckers with 27 points at end of Q3, the only player presenting a significant scoring threat.

UConn with a 24-8 Q4 without Edwards, who returned to bench with gauze in both nostrils. Maybe not a broken nose. Other players stepped up scoring for UConn in Q4, especially Arnold, who left with thigh injury with 1:31 remaining.

Went to this game.

Bueckers is so graceful, but Edwards and KK were all over the place, had a ton of energy and were the team’s heart.

My immediate thought after the game was I sure hope UConn has enough players to dress tomorrow…

not that Deberry would ever be used, but she appears to still be in concussion protocol and had earplugs in ala ducharme.
