Signing Gustafson and re-signing Stokes would seem to suggest that either Parker and/or George are not returning.

Hell, I never even considered the possibility of Coates being brought back. I was just looking at the Aces potentially having five bigs (Wilson, Parker, Stokes, Gustafson, George) when they still need perimeter scoring from their reserve unit, and thinking, "One or more of those bigs gotta go." I can't imagine Williams being brought back, and I doubt that more than one of their second-round picks is going to make the roster, unless a projected first-rounder starts to crater, and they trade up, so they're still going to need to find a decent backup guard somewhere.

Reading the tea leaves, does it seem reasonable to think that if Candace Parker retires, Elena Delle Donne is her replacement? EDD had said she was interested in Phoenix and Las Vegas, and after the Copper trade to Phoenix, I don't know how the Mercury is possible. If CP3 returns, I wonder if EDD and the Mystics will be looking at each other to see who blinks first.

Last season when Parker was in the lineup they were threatening the league's all time winning percentage record

It looks like they got sucked into Pleasantville and all the color was drained out of them. Thanks, I hate it.

Wouldn’t it make sense to make season tickets unlimited? Fill the whole arena with season ticket holders.

All teams set a certain amount of tickets for season tickets and the rest for single game tickets. If the entire arena is filled will season ticket holder there would be no available seats to sell for individual games.

Why would a sports team that plays in one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world want to make single-game tickets unavailable to visitors?

^ Totally. And even aside from tourists, you still want fans in your local area being able to attend.
If there is more demand than available seats then that's a good thing. It drives up interest when tickets become harder to get.
Closing it off completely to the general public / "casual fans" would seem very counterproductive to me.
