I'm somewhat disappointed to no longer having week 13 against Calbearman. Have you, by chance, been in touch with him anytime recently?

I have not heard from him this year - unfortunately. I do hope that he's doing alright and excited to watch how Ioanna Krimilli tears up the Pac-12 in it's final season.

I should clarify, my main players are to play their alternate game if it exists before moving on to my reserves.

If that's all A'jah Davis can muster against St. Thomas Aquinas, I'm scared for real competition. On the advice of a good friend, I am sending A'jah Davis to Coventry and I'll pick up a familiar face as Macie Warren of Utah Tech shall make her return.

No worries. I am doing fine. I thought about getting in the league but I may be traveling quite a bit in 2024 and I didn't think I would be able to devote enough time this season. Hopefully I will be able to get back into it next season.

I will be following the league and may even kibbitz throughout.

It’s always a tough decision early in the season, deciding which game to play the stars. Especially when they’re playing lower level D1 or D2 teams for their first game. How many minutes are they really going to play?

Interesting: I was trying to find the weakest opponents when I made my lineup. Bad idea?

Also, we're not allowed to start against D2, correct? I didn't check to see that I wasn't doing that--I have no clue which schools are D1 and which are D2. What's the procedure if I made a mistake--do we just follow my alternate list and use that game, or do I have to take a zero?

Week 1 - Pureform vs Miracles Dynasty

*Transaction: Waive Courtney Whitson, F, Middle Tennessee
Sign Jalynn Gregory, G, Middle Tennessee

G - Rori Harmon - Texas vs Liberty, Sunday 11-12
G - Savannah Wheeler - Middle Tennessee vs Princeton, Sunday 11-12
C - Kamila Cardoso - South Carolina vs Notre Dame, Monday 11-06
TF - Jessika Carter - Miss. State vs Alcorn State, Monday 11-06
TF - Rickea Jackson - Tennessee vs Florida State, Thursday 11-09
U - Frida Foremann - Colorado vs Oklahoma St., Sunday 11-12
U - Jalynn Gregory - Middle Tennessee vs Florida A&M, Thursday, 11-09
U - Acacia Hayes - WKU vs Mercer, Monday 11-06

Alternates in order of choice:

First U: G - Lauren Park-Lane - Mississippi St. vs Jax St., Monday 11-12
Second U: - Domonique Davis - Southern Miss vs. Akron, Saturday 11-11
Third U: - Frida Foremann - Colorado vs. OK State, Sunday 11-12[/u][/b]

It had come to my attention that Jordyn Jenkins is injured and will not be playing this week. I would like to insert yesterday’s superstar Frida Foremann into the lineup in her place. Also, I didn’t intend to play my two Middle Tennessee players in the same game. I have made the necessary edit above.

**I would also like to waive Jordyn Jenkins, UTSA
Sign Zaay Green, G, UAPB

I think all of this is within the rules. If not, simply let me know.

I figure I probably won’t play Tess Heal much so i’m going to drop her and hope JuJu Watkins comes through.

I’ll add JuJu Watkins, G, Southern California.

Interesting part of the game really is choosing the right game. It's not the same for every player. It depends on the player, the team, the coach, and the opponent. It's hard to play most minor league players against a P5 team but even that is not hard and fast rule since it seems to bring out the best in some. And for top players sometimes they play better against the best competition. Some coaches really seem to work at running up the score and/or rarely playing their bench. But others pull their starters when they're up big. Also depends on how deep a bench is if a coach has no choice but to keep her/his starters on the floor. And it seems some players play better or worse against some teams consistently but apparently for no reason at all. But the best laid plans of mice and men....

so...my opponent Mr. Pureform, has listed a non-existent game for today.
His WKU Hayes plays Ball State in December. But they do play Mercer today so I'm assuming that's the game he wants?

Good catch. I usually get to these when I go to input data. I'm going to declare that the WKU game against Mercer will be the selected game based on the date contingent on Hayes actually playing today.
