| Storm jumped out of the blocks but it was all Wings for the rest of that 1st quarter. 24-7 run.

Jewel sold the chin contact by Arike.
Can she sell this one too?
That didn't really look like a foul to me.

Not a great game exactly, but it had some entertainment and a decent finish.
And yeah, some dramatics as well.
Might have been a game-winning screen set by Howard because it took Loyd out of the game at the Storm totally botched the ensuing possession.
Good to see Nurse back, Sabally starting to play well, and Dickey played a big role in that W too.

Haha, well said. That's exactly right.
Definitely debatable whether it was a foul or not. I don't think Jewell was trying to sell it - I think she got the wind knocked out of her. Obviously if she didn't get hurt on that play, then she would have been on the floor for that ensuing possession. I'm sure Howard was not trying to hurt her. Mama Loyd, however, is pretty upset that Howard did not even check to see if Jewell was okay.
As for Arike's actions...she raised that elbow and made contact with Jewell's face. That was no boxout. I'm still puzzled, though, that such a live-ball, contact foul like that would go down as a technical foul.
