Seeing on the Seattle Storm’s Facebook feed, a screenshot of Simone Edwards and “1973-2023”.

I’m like, WHAT??? How did she pass away?

she has been fighting this while keeping her loving, cheerful heart. She would post often on the Storm Crazies board. Simone was a Warrior to the end & lovingly called us her tribe.

Check out the Storm Crazies board on Facebook. Many folks posting their personal stories & memories of her. She was loved tremendously by her fans.

RIP, Simone. Warrior Queen.

She had a special relationship with Storm fans even in her retirement. The world is a little darker today. RIP Simone

So, how many other WNBA former players have passed away? Offhand, I recall Kim Perrot, Margo Dydek, Corissa Yasen, Judy Mosley-McAfee, and Simone. But I may be missing some others.

Rosalind Ross was drafted - Did she not play in a game?
