WNBA fans are probably not, as a rule, in Kevin Smith's target audience. Still, this is a very good sequel. Not as consistently funny as Clerks and with some obvious padding to make it feature length, but hysterical when it's on. It's not for prudes or people averse to bad language. Rosario Dawson is brilliant, as always, and I enjoyed seeing the characters of Dante & Randal again. Thumbs up here!

Sounds like you had a better time with that than I did at the ultra-disappointing "My Super Ex-Grilfriend."

I like the premise of that, but Ivan Reitman hasn't made a good film in 15 years. I may check it out anyway.

That was pretty much it. An A for concept, a D or so for execution. I kept thinking "There is a good movie to be made here, but this isn't it."

I finally got around to Clerks III yesterday. It's one of the saddest, most depressing comedies I've ever seen. I hesitate to even call it a comedy. There are some laughs, but the core story is tragic and it doesn't have a happy ending.
