I've been watching a lot of this. Mostly FSU.
With one swing, FSU catcher Michaela Edenfield made an impression on me. First, great athlete!! That HR she hit last week had to be one of the most beautiful swings > ball flight I think I've ever seen.
Then getting a look at the artistry of her eyes. She does her eye makeup different for every game. It's gorgeous!!!!!! One night it was pink flames for Holly Rowe and tonight it was stars and Pride colors for Pride Month.
Tonight she hit another home run, but it was when she flew out to CF that was really impressive. It was kind of a sinking liner and the fielder made a nice play on the ball (not a web gem, but not a gimme either).
Now, someone who could rightfully claim a "ME" attitude, she acknowledged the nice play to the CF. Kind of a tip of the batting helmet.
Then in the post game interview with Holly she got choked up when asked about getting to the champ series.
I hope that she is. and stays, everything that I've seen this past week.
