Dana's minutes have definitely gone down significantly since Julie arrived. During the last post game presser, coach said that she tweaked something but was fine. I suppose it could also be that they have shortened their rotation to 8. I would love to see her, Ruthy and Li (who definitely needs reps) get more time. We shall see!

I hope there will be a post-game as well as a half-time show. Amazon is not known for their wnba game productions. Ask the Commishioner why this game isn't on abc or espn? smh

This announcer sounds very similar to the former Washington Mystics play-by-play announcer.

Is this game supposed to have the significance of a playoff game? I suspect a lot of TV viewers would be baffled by a "Commissioner's Cup" game.

Copper often has to create her own offense. I don't know why they can't run plays for her.

Quigley is a liability right now. I know Wade doesn't want to hurt his vet's feelings, but she needs to sit.

I had the broadcast on mute because of other stuff happening, but then turned it on and heard Dawn Staley...and turned it back off.

They are not. If they can't get any production out of the SG spot consistently, they are in trouble in the post season. Also, Wade has to stop them from jacking up 3s earlier when they are not falling.

He actually told them not to shoot open threes...that they need to get it to the paint first...You could see them hesitating but then finding a way to get it in the paint....then Quigs hit a 3... Laughing I really hope she finds her touch soon and/or he starts to give Dana the opportunity to help stretch the defense.

Teams seem to be making an effort to limit Quigley from three. She is shooting 33.3% versus 45.4% last year and in 54 more minutes this year versus 2021 she has 45 fewer attempts. I also notice that Quigley came off the bench most of last year. Forgot that DeShields was the starting small forward and Copper the shooting guard.

Seems like the Aces were more aware of how much money was on the line for this game. This game puts Las Vegas and Chicago tied for first.

The league needs more owners like Mark Davis. When was the last time you saw an owner travel to an away game?

Yeah, I'm confused by that too... I'm thinking that he's wrong and we are right Laughing

The Aces are my second favorite team behind the Sky so this was a hard one for me but the Aces l(specifically A'ja, Chelsea and Kelsey) looked good and stayed aggressive! They did not let up and Becky did really well with rotations...having Bay back definitely helped and Stokes had some nice minutes. I loved having Dawn on the call and it continues to be beautiful to see how supportive and invested the owner of the Ace's team is!

I hope the Sky get a day of rest and then get back at it and into the groove with Sloot back.

Kelly Loeffler flew to road games on her private jet fairly regularly. Sometimes took player spouses along for the ride.
