The announcer is on turnover watch now. He says the franchise record is 30 turnovers, and they have 27 now with a quarter left.

But the W box score is showing 24 TO’s.

I'm seeing the same thing. What I'm not sure about, since I turned off the game in disgust, is whether there were turnovers that aren't attributed to anyone in particular. (Shot clock violations are thrown at the team generally, not the player holding the hot potato, right? What about the inbounding violation in the first half?)

There are definitely team turnovers as well. I’m not sure if the box scores reflect this. They used to. Right now I don’t want to check. Since I’m also simultaneously wondering if I ever want to watch another WNBA game.

Announcer is claiming 32 TO’s with 1:15 left.

The annoying part is that a shitshow like this would be the perfect time to give Han and Jocelyn extended run. Except we can't.

Team effort. Each of the five New York starters has at least four turnovers.

I wonder if Curt Miller sits on the WNBA scheduling committee. This is only CON’s third game game of the year. It’s nice having a light schedule at the start of the season so you’re not playing many games without the full squad and you’re getting more practice.

The Liberty should just trade Howard/Dolson/Whitcomb and go for a lottery pk in the 2023 draft.......I'm not saying give up on the season...The Liberty should focus on developing their young talent and stacking assets instead of wasting time on 30+year-old players like Howard, Dolson, and Whitcomb.

I agree, good role players. but these are not stars players

The salaries of those 3 would make a trade very difficult.

Not really:

Vegas could use a legit big-----Dolson for Stokes & draft pick

Minny could use a shooter-----Whitcomb for Achonwa & draft pick

I'm sure Minny/Sea would also consider making a trade for Howard

What does Vegas needing a legit big have to do with Stefanie Dolson?

If you want the Liberty to rebuild, taking on Achonwa's albatross of a contract seems counterproductive.

Vegas was negotiating with Dolson to play for them during the offseason...Vegas could use a big body to match up with players like Cambage, McCowan, etc.

Taking back Achonwa's contract is not counterproductive if you're also getting a 1st or 2nd rd pick in return.

Is New York in the Boston Sweepstakes?

Now that would be something if they landed her in the draft and Stewart as a free agent Laughing

Trade Howard and Sami and then you kiss goodbye any chance of signing Stewie

Liberty will be okay, I think. It's early in the season and Laney is coming off an injury, gotta make the simple pass though. They were getting way too creativity with the ball, a lot of those passes didn't have a chance.
