We have always known that the first game was a tryout for whom we should cut. Mo Jeff got the boot bc her performance was not head and shoulders above Harris whom we signed for cheaper . Bad deal overall with Jefferson the amount we paid her was just spur of the moment as a luxury and it bit us in the butt no way to cut the cookie other than that tbh.

Her turkey has to learn the plays and figure out the style. She’s there but I’m not sure why it’s taken VJ so long to put her in. Nvm she’s in now still not sure why it took a QTR and a half. Maybe the pace VJ wants to play but overall nothing has worked so far so put Lil T in V8!! Surprised Surprised Razz Mad

Holy crap. Saw them go down by 15 and allow the Tycs to shoot 100% for the opening 6 minutes. Thought this game was a done deal. Arike should be aiming to shoot more 3s than 2s. What a great stretch of game!!! What a game!! When is the last time 8 days into the season there were no more undefeateds!?

I wasn't scurred, The Wings always have good games against Mystics on their home floor

I like Mabrey to start at the point, but the offense moves well with Harris (10 assist). Damn near nonexistent with Burton

Awak seems to have more confidence. Had a great preseason game but where did that offense go?

Wanted to see more of Big T - but she's still learning the plays

Double double for Izzy, Lish on fire and Arike shot like 5 or 6 threes. 10 assist for Harris

What are they doing with the 2021 #1 pick? Bring Unique back already....why hold a crucial roster spot hostage?

I don't think Thorton will have a head anymore by the All Star game

Hopefully they get back to focused rebounding

Defense still a work in progress

22 assists29 rebounds, 9 turnovers.

Arike knocked down three 3-pointers in about a minute. I forgot how quickly she can catch fire. Shocked

Machida should look to score more I think, passed out of several good looks.

Then again maybe not, Mystics will be fine when Cloud returns.
