That would be Benzan, who went 4-5 from three and basically got the Mystics back into the game after it looked like the Aces were running away with it, right? Benzan, who is tiny, trying to fight a big for the ball after her team has basically won the game already and could easily have gotten injured by the much bigger player on the play due to the size disparity. Flopping? Seriously? She was giving it her all, even after helping her team put the game out of reach. I mean Hamby was also doing whatever she could to give her team the slightest of chances they could overcome the Mystics lead as the seconds ticked down.

This is about a rookie, who has taken to heart the Mystics mantra "it's all about taking care of your teammates" and did not want to lose Benzan in future games. It was Benzan and Myisha who brought this victory for the still understaffed Mystics and all their teammates knew this. So glad this attitude of teammates playing for each other has returned, with the timing coinciding with the loss of Tina Charles from the lockerroom.

And, yeah, Phoenix beat Seattle, who were without Breanna Stewart and Ephiphany Prince due to Covid protocols after their flight to Phoenix on commerical planes who can no longer require masking on planes. Both Breanna and Tasha Cloud, who missed her game for Covid protocols, have both spoken passionately about the lengths they go to in their private lifes to prevent infection. Fact is they contracted Covid while fulfilling requirements of their job. Some selfish person spread the virus on the plane. It is truly a bastardization of the word "freedom" when you are free to infect others with a potentially deadly virus.

I am also exposed to the virus while fulfilling the requirements of my job. I had Covid 2 yrs ago and then long Covid, which disrupted my life immensely. Feel free to fight me on this, but you will lose. 40 people died from Covid in my county the past two weeks. Contact tracing shows that most were infected by being inside with unmasked people while wearing a mask themselves. Most were required to be inside buildings with unmasked people as a requirement of their job.

But feel free to complain about your "right" to eat popcorn unmasked while attending sporting events. Bite me.

This virus will be with us a long time because of SELFISH people who don't want to accept the science, political excuses, or just plain STUPID!! Sad.
